New Orleans pool halls?

Its like the difference in the SHOT show and a standard gun/sports show. One is all industry and the other is geared for public sales.

I don't know. Shot was what I was thinking of when I posted. I'd love to attend Shot as a consumer. Everything I've seen online it looks awesome. I'm sure there are tons of things geared more to industry sales there but still it is an opportunity to see all that sh!t. They have demos of many things too. Where else can you do all of that? I shoot sporting clays, precision rifle, own suppressors and the like and all the advertising I see every year for the various companies displaying their new items and demos make me want to go.

But yeah, I guess if the people there displaying things are only interested in large industry sales they don't want the individual buyer present. Whatever.

Does the big NRA Convention Show have as much as Shot?

If you know a firearms/firearm access. retailer its not hard to get a pass. SHOT is NOT open to general public. From what i've been told the NRA conv. is nothing compared to SHOT. Lots of meetings, dinners, fundraisers, etc.

Allen Hopkins SBE is "geared" to consumers. The BCA Show has always been industry only...even when they had pro events connected with the show.

Why would the event even be industry only? Why not let in the public. Does it really have that much business?

When the event used to be held in Vegas and they had the two huge Men and Women's events attached, was it industry only then too?

Never understood the limitation. Is nothing "geared" at all to the public?

Junior Nationals started today in New Orleans......runs thru the 15th.

For anyone interested, T.J. Hill is competing for the last time in the Junior Nat'l.

Last year, he had to withdraw after he became deathly ill from Leukemia
which he never knew he had until getting diagnosed after having to forfeit.

It's been a tough year of chemo treatment but T.J. has improved and he's
now on a monthly chemo treatment instead of weekly which only changed
a month ago just in time for the tournament.

Make a Wish Foundation has sponsored T.J.'s participation in the Junior
Nationals and when he was asked what he wanted for his wish.....get this.

You can ask for anything....go anywhere....do almost any activity you can
think of.....so when T.J. was asked about what was his wish, he merely replied...

"I'd like to participate in the 2018 Junior Nationals in New Orleans because
there's some unfinished business I need to take care of."....Well, regardless
of how T.J. fares at the tournament, he's already a champion in my heart and
I know that in the years ahead, after pennies have been laid on my eyes & I'm
just merely a memory to some, T.J. Hill will be recognized as a really talented
player whom successfully dealt with all the shit life throws at you and still won.

Wish him best of luck, I'm glad my son is too old to play or I'd feel bad if he had to play TJ and won.
