hey i'm coming to visit soon, and just wondered where to get some cheap sets of 9ball($100-500 a set)? where is the place to play?

Buffalo's is always a good option, but JoeyA would be the best person to get advice from.

I"m sure he'll chime in, soon enough.

Buff's is the only option!!!!!!!!!! Corner pocket is an ok place that is ran by great people....... But the action over there is like a tumbleweed in the wind.....

When I lived in Meatairie back in '05 til end of 06........Buff was my spot of choice.....There was ALWAYS someone looking for a money game.......

That or holla at HoumaTroy and he has a friend that play anyone 100-200$ sets :P:P

bump for info!!!!!!

New Orleans, Buffalo's. I see the owner of the Corner Pocket coming to Buff's for action. Need I say more?

Nearby in Slidell, Joy at Two Sisters can almost certainly steer you into action from small to medium large. With more time to travel I think a swing through Houma, Lafayette, and cajun country in general could net some nice action. Good people and they aren't afraid to bet. Baton Rouge is pretty spotty according to the reports I get, probably not worth the trip but you never know.

On a tight schedule the place to go is clearly Buffalo's. Just the way the New Orleans scene is right now.

Yea i heard that the owner{jamie} plays pretty sporty, and a cat named Ricky is good action too. But other than that everyone seems to say go to Buffalo's! Thanks for the info!

If it was me I wouldn't play Jamie on his trick table. He will come to Buff's if you want action with him and it is a much more even playing field although he does know the tables at Buff's too still giving him a little home field advantage.
