Looks real nice. I decided to look into it. 5k for a Chinese production cue. I would be afraid to take it anywhere. Once again looks real nice

They were cue sponsor of Earl and Jason for like a year I think? Not enough to gain a huge visibility it seems
Well I play either at home or at pool clubs,no bars or similar establishments so the risk of damage is very low. Also I dont travel by airplane neither with all the issues at airports nowadays to avoid a headache. I use John Barton's cuecase so thats another significant layer of safety. And last but not least I simply dont look like a victim, robbers usually dont pick 186cm/135kg man with tattoos as their target - adding a picture from this year's European championship for you to get the idea,as you probably can tell i am the one in the middleView attachment 771040

i should know, i'm a quarter bohemian (karlovy vary), but that quarter died long before i was born. i tried learning some czech when i was vacationing in prague but really, vepro knedlo zelo and various beer brands was all i learnt.
played in a decent pool room in north east part of town. 9ft pool tables, but 8ft carom tables. never seen that before.
Weilu is the home company. Peri/Eclat are names chosen for their cues. They make tables as well. Big outfit. AFAIK there is no US dealer since JS left them. He used to have them for sale, usually the really hi-end stuff. Now i think of it Seyberts may handle them. Not sure on that.
No clue, but i thought weight and size was pretty standard for what was allowed as a carry on. I'd say call the airline or check the website for specifics before going.

I just want to brag a little. My wife decided it was a time for me to get a new cue as I wasnt too happy with the leather wrap that my old Peri cue had (the wrap was fine but i realized that i dont like a leather wrap in general). Because I liked the way my old Peri cue played she told me to show her all wrapless Peri cues so she can pick one for me. And she did. My wife has this superpower though - when she is choosing an item from a catalogue she likes the most expensive one without an exception without even looking at the price tag
