New Pool Art For Sale

Look at the end of the table. Cue ball and 9 are left after he missed. He wasn't happy.

The hard part of this is these are not posed shots. They are all taken in the middle of the action.

i like this because marketing strategies for players are made through tournament winnings and sponsors etc. I am guessing that 75-85% of pro-players can not afford to make a comfortable living through tournament winnings and sponsors.

Imagine a Vegas casino that would offer 10% of money lost in order to find out who the best game maker/gambler is in the world. I think the cost of this would be signifigantly low if espn or fox sports would give it a try. Im sure players from around the nation wouldnt have trouble finding backers if the show became mildly successful once you see an average semi-pro player get a huge spot and take down 50k. All games would be tracked such as 9ball/8ball/10ball/One-Pocket/Golf etc. The main reason why people dont watch pool on tv is because there arent any touchdowns or three pointers, no action.

Lets face it.....as far as industry potential, the gambling aspect has made the most money and i do not think it will scare anyone away from taking up the game in the future other then religious fanatics. If you make a movie or a tv show about a hustler or a tournament pro, which will make more money?

I have recently recieved alot of good feedback on some of the photos I have taken and posted in the forum. I'd like to say thanks to all who have encouraged me.

After surfing around the net and looking around the local billiard dealers I have found a real lack of what I think is original art. Most is graphic style cartoonish drawings or standard Hustler and COM still photos.

Myself and another photographer have decided to start a little company called JA ProPhoto. We are going to specialize in Pool and Billiards of course, but instead of just submitting pictures to magazines we are going to try something different.

We are going to take what we think are our most interesting images and do a run of 10 prints of each image. We have our first one ready for you to look at.

We are only going to do 10 of this picture in this size. The photo is 12x18 professionally printed, dry mounted, double matted, and framed in an 18x24 frame.

Price is $250

We can accept PayPal or Money Order, Personal Check.

I would like feedback from the forum on both this image and our idea to do something new for pool memorabilia.

Thanks.

The picture was taken at this years Derby City Classic in Louisville, Ky.
