Well, actually it is in Matthews in the old Rack 'Em location. Badfish billiards is now open. Danny Caldwell, on of the best known and highly regarded table mechanics is the owner, and you can bet those tables are set up right.

Charlotte area players need to support Danny in his new businesss venture.

Danny is a great guy & no stranger in a poolroom...I'm sure he'll do fine. Great location too...I miss the old place.
I wish him the very best.:)
 
I played a tournament one weekend out at Rack 'Em in Jan of this year. I liked the layout and they had some really good food for a pool hall.
 
GREAT room in Matthews

I would *strongly recommend* checking out Badfish in Matthews!

I went there last night, and there were many tables open. They have a full bar, a fantastic guy running it, and pretty bartenders :smile:

Danny knows how to keep his equipment in top-shape, and I am sure he will.

They are looking for league players at the moment. I know they have the APA there, and I think they'll have 8 Ball Express and Break the Bank, too.

The beer was cold and cheap. I'm not sure what table time costs, but I'm sure it is very reasonable.

If you'd like to go to a not-smoky room where you can get a table with good space around it, this is your place!
