I have been watching the cam for a few days now and it seems that the players never rack on the spot but on the opposite end of the table. I assume this is done so the one pocket games can be seen better?

It looks to me like they are racking normaly. Look at the bottom of the screen and you can see the ball return and the ball holders on the foot of the table. They do have the head spot marked as well as the foot spot on that table which is probably what is throwing you off.
When playing one pocket they use the bottom side of the table normally. When playing 8ball or 9ball they use the top head rail of the table to rack. So they don't wear out the area for good one pocket racks.

Yeah I mentioned some to Matt last night. Perhaps Todd Marsh, J.D., Harry Platis, Mike Z., Tim Tweedell (moved to Vancouver), Raul matches. I forgot about Randy but he is strong as well. Where is Kris "Baby Huey" Iverson these days? J/K
Todd would be a good choice always around, No Randy due to not being allowed to come to this room, Todd and Harry would be a good game or Todd and Mike Z. or also not to forget Dan Loiue would be fun to watch. Hey Linda anytime Mike wants to play let me know and maybe we can set something up, was the 3k Mike and Randy? , I will post anytime I hear of a good match to check out, and maybe we can set 1 up for people at a certain time if there is the interest.
