Hey guys,

I've been working on a pool education website called basicbilliards.com and I’m looking for advice from the knowledgeable members of this forum on anything I can do to improve the site.

The idea behind the site is to provide a free, modern website that’s easy to use on a computer or phone to learn about pool with high quality graphics, videos, and animations.

Any feedback you guys have would be awesome since I’m sure there's a lot of stuff I haven't thought of to make the website better!

Where did you get the website design? It is simple and elegant with very clean code. I've been looking for something like this as a starting point to modernize my billiards.colostate.edu website. Thanks for any info you can share.

Feel free to link to or embed any of my online videos if you want to include demonstrations.

Good luck, and keep up the good work,
Dave

Thanks for the endorsement Dr. Dave, your site was part of the inspiration for this one!

Unfortunately there is no design you can find for this since I created it myself. The advantage is its fast and clean. The disadvantage is I'm not a great coder so it doesn't have a backed and all the content is coded manually.

Having said that there are definitely some wordpress templates that are elegant and inexpensive that you can look into. I'm super picky when it comes to design so I didn't go that route for the main site even though the blog is actually wordpress.

Well done. Stay away from the Shuffet amalgamation of nonsense and anything that resembles CTE.
