Just putting out some info:

KBC Champion Billiards and Pool

El Monte, CA


Just went in there today @ noon. Owner seems like a nice guy. He opened this place up a few months ago. There are 2 heated Chevillotte carom tables, ten Gabriels Carom tables, 2 Anniversary pocket tables and 1 Gold grown pocket table. I think he over did it with the carom table percentage and he says he is going to try to add more pool tables ( after getting rid of some caroms).

Although he is trying to cater to the Vietnamese community (he is Vietnamese),he is friendly to any that enter his establishment.

$8/hr table time. M-Th 12pm to 10PM F-S 12pm to 12 am
No alcohol that I could see ( I went during lunch and had a bottle of water, on the house).

I already posted in the Carom forum and the place could use the publicity.
 
Thanks for the good word. We hear about rooms closing all the time, so I love to hear about rooms that are opening.

We have a room in the Denver area that caters to Korean players and it is also primarily a 3C room but has pool tables also. I have not made it there yet but from what I understand the owners will make anyone feel at home.
