hiya all,
i got a question, might seem silly for many, its not for me
ok, i was watching a match of ronnie o sulivan in snooker, and he had the cb something like 3" away from the ob. he had to roll the cb 3" further for position. i thought he would shoot it slowly. gently roll the ball. now i know that in this particual shot (rolling the cb some few inches further) i usually completely miss them. i either dont roll nothing at all,or way to far.
now my question: - if u have to play this shot, can u do it more acuratly if u play it with a higher speed?
ill explain: if u play it slow. the distance of the cb is highly influenced by the SPEED at wich u play this shot.
if u play it with power. the distance of the cb is determinated by the amount of top spin u put on the cb. (ok speed still has influence, but not as highly as at slow pace).
so: if im having lots of troubles playing this shot. should i move to the hard and folow shot instead of the slow and centerball roll shot.
