Does it get any better than this? Just delivered straight from John and Marylane.

Lets start with the Ron Thomas case...elephant skin with inlaid ivory coin engraved with the Showman logo....just stunning.

The cue....it is off the charts. 4 points of ebony, 4 veneers (white/blue/brown/black) with the nicest piece of birdseye maple I have ever seen on a cue, gothic ivory propellers in the points. Ebony butt sleeve with stacked veneers, 8 gothic ivory propellers, 2 sizes. Elephant ear wrap. Piloted ivory joint with 5/16-14 pin, large nickel silver ringwork. 2 shafts with 1" ivory ferrules. Ebony/ivory scrimmed joint protector.

I was lost for words when I took it out of the package. John is a living legend and his cues will stand the test of time. Demand is getting higher and higher, get on that list while you can. Like Barry S, he is a family man full of principles. Family comes first and the cues just happen to be a nice hobby that pays the bills. Lucky for us we have Barry and John in our time. If they are collectible now, imagine what they will be like in 10-20 years? Not the reason to buy but I sleep well knowing I have made a sound investment.

Congrats!!. Your cue is really classy. John is as great a person as his cues. Don't forget to play with it.

Beautiful cue Si... I'm fortunate to be on the list as well. I came up with a design that will encompass barbells, windows & notched diamonds. I'm patiently waiting with anticipation.

Thanks for sharing your stunning cue. I never get tired of seeing Johns' work.

Beautiful looking cue. I really like the veneer color combination. The brown goes really well. Thanks for sharing the photos. If you have his contact information, I would appreciate if you could PM me.
Thanks again.

That is one beautiful cue. Simply amazed at the work in that cue and I can only imagine how well it hits since I had a simple 4-pointer in my collection at one time. Great players and this one is a great collectable piece.

Thanks for posting to the forum.

That's one pretty cue, Si. Is this one of the two that were at the collectors show that I heard about ??

Yes Sean, this is the one. The other is with a mutual friend of ours :)

Thanks for the comments guys. I am going to try and take better pics to show the BEM off tomorrow.

Congratulations on your new cues my friend...let me know the hit of that amazing cue from john...you are right...i have to send my deposit ASAP lol...

What a awesome cue. John really has it together...his style, execution and finish are awesome. I love the Ivory propellers and the stacked veneers in the butt sleeve. I had an opportunity to hit with one of John's cues and I was very impressed with the hit.

John is one of the cuemakers that is a must have for any collection.

Congrats on your new Showman.

Thanks Si,

YOU DA MAN!!!

That is exactly what I was looking for. You can really see the grain in the mahogony he used, and it adds another dimension of "richness" to the cue's look.

Thanks for taking the time to post these more detailed pics. It is much appreciated!!!

Mike...

Si,
Every time I look at this cue, I like it more and more. Its flow and the details are first class. Again, nice cue.
