new snazzy pool related magazine...

I get full flop-sweat just looking at the site. Might be better than the electric chalker though.
 
All I get is a home page in Firefox. None of the links work. Looks like softcore bikini pics on a pool table? I like scantily clad chicks as much as the next guy but come on.....this is the internet man.Go big or go home. Either do porn or pool. Be bold. :D
 
I do not appreciate the fact that they used Landon to promote their crap.
(referencing an article shown in the issue)

I guess they figured that Landon is good for a little attention. They could have chosen a ton of other articles.......

I believe they are going to have an expose on how terrible the Great Southern Billiard Tour is in their next issue.

I see they are also using stolen copyrighted material from Limited Brands and Alpha Media Group. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

EDIT: They also can't spell, which adds to the hilarity of this "publication".

Ok I figured out how to see the "magazine". All I can say is that it raises the bar for level of tastelessness in the pool world. That is saying something.

I wonder if Simonis knows that they are being promoted by way of a fake ad for condoms? Yeah thats classy. Makes me want to run out and load up on 860 just in case. Not only is it classless but can you get anymore 4th grade than Ball and Stick jokes?

I didn't see Landon's name in there but I know for a fact he belongs no where near that mess.
 
C'mon now boy's and girl's. This process is routine. From the 1st grade princess to the prom queen, this mean old world runs on sex and gasoline. Same world as our mothers lived in and somehow we turned out ok.

Well what the world doesn't run on is jacking other peoples photos and using a minor's name to promote a product without consent. If someone wants to make an uber cheesy Maxim rip off more power to them but at least do the work.

And find your own name instead of blatantly stealing the title off of another magazine. (Something Alpha Media Group was not happy to hear about, either.)

me thinks maybe we are traveling down the wrong path if wanting to make pool a respected sport, probably get more mileage by embracing the less than respectable past and building on that... just my 2cents...;)
