We decided since we have had a few requests for a small lathe to machine small parts in general, so we came up with our own version of taigs mini lathe. This lathe could be used for machining small parts, joint protectors, ferrules, making jumpbreak tips...you could also chuck up and do tip work being that were using the big bore black headstock. we could even put an optional power leadscrew, which is not on this lathe pictured. base lathe is $499.99. options below
