I have been playing with these for a while, now I know the "hoopla" about how Gilbert's play....awesome!

I recently put these in Andy's hands, and was shocked the value of these baby's are 7500. for the set. He will NOT do these IVORY TIP pins (Schick tribute) on cues being built, except for his BIG show cues he told me....

Ebony forearms/butts. Tulipwood razor sharp points. 5 flame veneers, 5 flame butterfly veneers. Ivory joints. 16 Ivory inlays on "player". Ivory Hoppe rings. Flame ring work at all locations. Matching joint protectors with flame ring work. Jump-break has a MONSTER 14mm laminated birch shaft. Spreads-em awesome!

I would like to say I'll keep these babys forever...but you never know....:)

Thanks for looking...sorry for the glare in photo's...will take some more soon...

Thanks for the comments guys.

NOW that YOU mention it Seale, I didnt want to brag....but I made 6 balls on the break in a nineball gambling match the other night at Shooters in Olathe. This jump/break is incredible. I stuck the cue ball (which I usually do), made 6 balls, nineball was still on the table, easy three ball out. It was late, beat the guy out of 2 race to 9 sets, he unscrew'd.

I had witnesses too....:) Doug Patrick was one of them....

Thanks guys for the great comments. First Gilbert I have ever owned/played with. Its hit and balance is incredible. Andy's workmanship is second to no one!

I don't remember seeing too many matching player and J/B cue sets in the last couple of years and I know I haven't seen any as nice as these two cues. Andy out did himself with this set!

These are just another example of why Andy is has been so successful at cue making. The execution is beautiful.

Anyone else have a Gilbert "set" to show off?

Would love to see others...please post pics!

Big or small...:)

Here's 2 more examples...

Gilbert 20th anniversary set and also of another set below:
