New (to me) cue, help indentify

I know you get a lot of "help me figure out who made this cue!" but I can't find any information on this one. I picked this up at a second hand store for just a few dollars, knowing full well that it needed repair. I was drawn to it because of the looks and because of the narrow tip (11mm); I was hoping to have it turned down to 10mm in order to use it as a snooker cue. I'm sure it's probably a cheaply made cue, but to me, it's a really neat looking cue.

Unfortunately, I failed to notice the warping in the shaft, and the stupid person I am who likes to try to fix everything on my own, attempted to straighten it using methods I read about online. As you most likely guessed, the shaft snapped. Now I'm wondering if it would be worth it to have a new shaft made to my specifications using the original pin and ringwork, or just use that money to buy a new cue and make this one a wall hanger. I've had trouble finding a shaft with the correct pin size in the diameter I want, although I could get a shaft and have it turned down and a new ferrule and tip put on. It's an import cue. You can tell by the joint type
You could get a cue maker to take whats left of the shaft you have and cut a tenon to fit a new shaft on. Then turn it down.
Would cost a couple hundred. It's a 50 dollar cue new. So maybe not worthy of the expense.

That's what I figured, that it would cost more to make a new shaft than to buy a new cue. I still like the looks of it though, so I'll save it for a wall hanger. Thanks for the input.

If you decide to unload it let me know. I can re-purpose that forearm into a nice Rollerball or Fountain pen.
