I know you get a lot of "help me figure out who made this cue!" but I can't find any information on this one. I picked this up at a second hand store for just a few dollars, knowing full well that it needed repair. I was drawn to it because of the looks and because of the narrow tip (11mm); I was hoping to have it turned down to 10mm in order to use it as a snooker cue. I'm sure it's probably a cheaply made cue, but to me, it's a really neat looking cue.
Unfortunately, I failed to notice the warping in the shaft, and the stupid person I am who likes to try to fix everything on my own, attempted to straighten it using methods I read about online. As you most likely guessed, the shaft snapped. Now I'm wondering if it would be worth it to have a new shaft made to my specifications using the original pin and ringwork, or just use that money to buy a new cue and make this one a wall hanger. I've had trouble finding a shaft with the correct pin size in the diameter I want, although I could get a shaft and have it turned down and a new ferrule and tip put on. Here are some pictures, let me know your thoughts on this cue and which direction I should go, thanks for the input!
