New training CDs are our for Bobcad 23

I just ordered the new training cds today from a guy at Bobcad by the name of Oliver. He sold me the training CDs along with Bobcad pro for 1 key, high speed pocketting for 3 keys, and their new clip are CD for $459 shipped. The training CD I purchased for about $200 alone. Not as cheap as I would like so if any one is interested in getting Bobcad 23 get those added into the package for free. Now I already have the training cd sets for 20 and 22. I will try to let you guys know if these are worth while. By the way Bobcad has put out another update for 23. You can download from www.bobcad.com/updates

I appreciate the post. That's probably what they have been calling me about... I generally ignore their calls because they're always selling something. There is a fine line between informing your customers, and pestering them to death.

Mr. H. I know what you mean. I actually enjoy shooting them down until they get close to something that I want. Then when I get close to making a deal I remind them who I work for. They end up making the deal even better.
Of course, I still haven't made any money at this but I am having fun.

I have the new CDs. I think they're a little tedious to watch. There is one for each function. How hard would it be for them to let you just load them on to your pc & right-click to view the video related to the function?

I have the ones they originally sent with 23. They are ok if you want to do 3-d drawings. They need to make one in regards to cuemaking in my opinion. There are many of us using them. Would be nice to specialize a video set or at least a couple discs on just pocketing and cue related functions.

joe they really dont know much about about cue making i went through that years ago as far as cue making goes that just a small portion of this program.
 
Bobcad DXF art to Parts Cd

Just a follow up. I recieved the new Bobcad 23 training cds yesterday. Along with that I recieved Bobcad's new art cd. This cd contains over 6000 art dxf files. From what I can tell is that the art includes alot of boarders that will be useful in cue making. All files import directly into bobcad and can be mdified or scaled like any other drawing. It incluseds a nice book with all the art pictured and is well organised. The list price for the Cd is $295 however, I paid $59 with my order of the training cds. This was well worth the money. I also was able to copy all of these files to my hard drive for easier access.

On a side note, I just recieved a call from Bobcad selling training cds specific to Bobart pro. Why the hell didn't they tell me these where availible and not included with the regular taing cds?

In conclution use this information if you can if you are thinking about getting anything from Bobcad. If they want to make a sale then use these tools to sweeten the pot.

Mr. H. I am going through them now. I did notice that at least two of the videos on the first cd where from ver. 22. The nice thing about watching these is that I can learn a few short cuts that I may have missed while going through ver. 22 a couple of years ago. These videos make it the easiest to get going on babcad. You can follow the videos and post out programs in a very short time frame. I know quite a bit about bobcad v23, however there will be some valuable information in here.
