New "Transaction Report" subforum

We have had a couple of posts lately that were reports on various transactions users had in the industry and they didn't really have a place. We added a "Transaction Report" subforum in the Wanted/For Sale area today. That would be the place to let everyone know about that great (or not so great) experience you had in the industry.

Had a good or bad experience with someone in the billiards industry? This is the place to tell us about it.

Good idea. We have had that at OBM for years and it's a great resource to search before making a deal.

I just tried to join Facebook to participate in the Open Billiards Market. I was suspended in the first two minutes after joining. I guess the thought police think Texas One Shot is a sniper thing, not a pool game. Free speech used to be a thing.

That seems unlikely. Perhaps you didn't follow the rules in some way? We often have new members who don't bother to actually read the rules despite acknowledging that they did during the sign up process. However if you pm me your real name I will certainly ask the mods about you and find out why you were barred.

We don't have thought police. We have rules and breaking them can lead to a ban. With more than 50,000 members we are pretty good at keeping things civil by sticking to the rules.

It. Was referring to Facebook as I had never joined joined before. It turns out they wanted a picture of my face to prove my identity. Hence the name I guess.
