Doug, is the tournament open to all? Lynchburg ain't too far from me. The horse needs to get out of the barn every now and then and run. He said he's getting saddle sores! :D

I'll bet the Christmas decorations in Lynchburg are breautiful this time of year. It's a really scenic part of the country and a nice drive on the back roads from D.C. :)

Hope all is well with you, Doug, and wishing you a Merry Christmas. Are you going to the Derby?

New Va. Tour.

Hi all, i am just posting this for a friend who is trying to get this off the ground. He said it will be a one game on both sides. In other words if you get beat the first game on the winners side you go to the loosers side. If you get beat the next game on the loosers side you are out of the tournament. Its kind of like a regular bar tournament. It is being played on bar tables and as far as i know it is open to all. He is hoping to be able to start ansewering all questions when he gets his approvel to join this. Hope this helps. It would be nice to see you all there. Thanks Doug

Thank you Doug for your help getting the word out about this tournament. I am really looking forward to seeing your stroketrainer this weekend. I have thought about the concept of your product and have been really concentrating on my stroke for the past week. I consider myself to be a better than average player but I'm not very consistent (I feel this may be because of the "chicken wing" stroke). Since I've started to concentrate on a smooth, even stroke, I've improved a bit. I have played in three 8-ball tournaments this week and have finished 1st, 4th, and 1st. I will probably purchase one this weekend to make next week a 1st, 1st, and 1st week. I do hope that you will bring the extra pins needed for left hander setup.
As far as the tournament at Cattle Annies, you've done a great job explaining things. Yes, anyone can play (even from other states) as long as you are 21 or over (ID is required). If you qualify in a Virginia regional, you must play in the State finals in Virginia, and you will be representing Va. in the Nationals. You may play in as many regionals as it takes to get qualified in any state you wish, but you will have to follow through in the state in which you qualify.
I hope to get our website completed soon so the entire qualifying schedule will be displayed for all. When it is up and running, I will be sure to post the address here.
Thanks again Doug for your help.
