We made a new video in this one at the bottom of the video we scroll interesting facts like you would see on the news. I am learning so much abut this subject the more I learn the more I am convinced that it should be legal.

Here is a link to the website just click where it says video.
http://www.billiardbuds.com/

Thank you everyone

OK, let me start by saying I smoke weed almost daily. I would love for it to be legal only for the fact that I wouldn't have to worry about getting in trouble legally or with my employer.

BUT.....

Exactly how is your website helping or supporting the game of pool?

If anything, I see this as a big joke. Lets put up some videos of pool trick shots and run a banner on the screen with "facts" about pot. My god, now anyone who watches this will be so amazed with your masse and jump shots that they have to run out and call their congressman about legalizing the sticky icky! Brilliant.....

In reality, seeing this makes me ashamed to be a weed smoker. This, to me, embodies the old saying "You have smoked too much of your product". Just because you like to get stoned and happen to have some sort of accomplishments in the pool world, does not mean it is the right thing for you to try and combine the two.

Yes, it is a free country, and we all can do whatever we want when it comes to these things, but is it the right thing to do? Coming from someone who SHOULD want pool to further it's image and following to new heights, this (to me) makes it look more amateur-ish and lame.

How about you do us a favor and at least post this in NPR? And when I say us, I am referring to pot smokers that don't want the stoner-Bob Marley-hippie image and pool players who want the focus to be on playing the game and not what everyone's personal or political beliefs are off of the table.

Thanks........

This is a reply to MahnaMahana's post. going into this project Jamison and I both were aware that this idea would be controvertial, but I believe people still have the wrong idea of what we are trying to accomplish here. The site will be online for friday january 29, and you will be able to see for yourself that this concept will be presented in a proffesional manner. The site has two sides, the "strokers" room and the "smokers" room. A player visting the pool side will be impressed with the video and data base, covering everything from cues to legends of the game, our forum, and pro shop will feature custom craftsmen as well as production products. On the other hand the smokers side is equally impressive with a database loaded with historical facts, not to mention work contributed by Lester Grinspoon
a harvard medical professor and accomplished author. I can assure you this will not be "amatuer-ish" or "lame". All I would ask, is you visit the site on friday and form your opinion after you have the facts.

Well I would like you to take a moment, and think about this.

"Thomas Jefferson used to play billiards on an illegal table in a secret room of his house, probably while while smoking marijuana that was legal"

That is how they are alike my friend. They are one, and the same banned by fools at some point in modern history.

I hope that we live to see a day that you don't have to fear losing your job, or going to jail for pursuing happiness in a free country.

I saw the videos posted here and they are really well done.

Hope you have a successful web site launch.

I might even pay you a visit.

After watching the Venom clip on here... other videos look like league play compared to pros on TV, a 7 ball run to a 7 pack etc...

I like the website idea. Great masses by the way Jamison, you have some talent there! Good luck with your launch and I will be sure to check it out from time to time.

So I am a little confused.

Are you quoting yourself here?

And exactly how did whoever said this come to the assumption that Thomas Jefferson was "probably smoking marijuana that was legal"?

If I believe that prostitution should be legal, can I say that Thomas Jefferson was probably paying for a BJ while playing on that table?

Just trying to understand the logic here. It is mysterious to me, but somewhat trippy at the same time. Far out man....

Anyone notice the two green turds with eyes, holding pool cues?

Eric >from a steady diet of peas?

So you're asking people to leave this forum and go to your forum? I've seen this happen before and the powers that be didn't take too kindly to people being led away from here to another forum.

I am confused

The fact that Thomas Jefferson was smoking marijuana that was legal is made because he stated that some of his happiest momment's in life were spent while enjoying hemp from his garden.

Not my opinion. It is a fact is that Jefferson smoked weed and it is a fact that it was legal. While playing pool that was illegal...in VA at that time it was illegal.

The only assumption is that it was at the same time. How "trippy" is that??? A fact is now trippy???

You smoke pot "almost every day"!

If you think you have a better plan, then I'm all ears.

I hope you remain free to fight for your rights...I guess your plan on how you can help is to hide from the police, and not lose your job, if I heard you right?

Ill bet you have like 60 post's that arent knocking me...lol And all you are really doing is helping...lol You are like my own personal ad guy never thought I would have a free assistant, but I do. Thanks for your years of loyalty as my DD.

Everyone, but you...lol

Not trying to lead anyone away I am still posting here every day like a addict...

No worries about me. Ive always found you to be considerably more than mildy annoying both in person and on the forums, I have no desire to check out anything you're involved. I do have to mention that your friend Tom Collins is trying to tell people how professional your site is and how professional your point of view is and your silly little comments like "Everyone, but you...lol" negates what he spent time trying to say eloquently. Way to go genuis.

As for you still being here every day. That isn't what I said. I have seen people in the past get warnings from the mods for posting links to other billiard forums. When asked what the problem was, the mod stated that they did not want links posted that led people away from here to other pool forums. It really is that simple. It has nothing to do with my disdain for you and everything to do with what has happened in the past.

This and pool

This is a pool forum or an I in the wrong forum ? Next it will be about abortion or PETA.Lets just keep it about pool.

Nope, my plan is to not do anything, as I don't think weed should be legal. But if I did think it should be legal, I sure as hell would not be bringing pool into the picture. Being a pot smoker just makes it easier for me to look at you and this brilliant endeavor of yours and see how stupid it is (IMO).

If for one second you think that the video you posted is going to sway law makers or voters to do anything you are beyond help.

Hey Jamison, remember that time when you asked the AZ community for funding to construct a building for you to put up a table and make a trick shot video? Remember how well that was received? Gosh, I sure hope this website and forum takes off like that idea did.

But you are right, I will wait for this site to start up and see how it goes.

Good luck Jamison, you are my hemp hero!
