sorry it has taken so long to get the solid rod in stock,but it is here now.it is the new yellow micarta that i have been getting for a couple of years.it is lighter and stronger than LBM and has a medium hit with high spin and low deflection.

Is this the stuff on original Rhunde Schon's? Is it safe to work with?

it is different from the Schon ferrules.not sure if it's safe to work with or not but i am still breathing and i've been working with it for almost 2 years.

You're correct about the hit. I have 3 shafts with Mason ferulles. They hit real good.
