i've noticed that since Corr and Fisher have been on the scene, a lot of the american ladies have pretty much vanished from the top of the list.

so my question is: who is the next great American ladies player that has potential to be the next 'Fisher'?

I really don't think we're going to see one for a few years to come. If anyone I'd say Anna Kostanian. But with X Pan, K.Fisher, Ga Young Kim, and Yu Ram Cha getting better each year, I can't see it. Don't count A. Fisher or Karen Corr out yet either. In the WPBA any match-up of the top 12 can go either way. Too bad there isn't much money for all that talent.

If Sarah R. had sponsors and didn't have to work she could practice more and go to more tournaments. I'm sure if she did she would make it into the top 10 in a season. Johnnyt

If her heart and soul was 100% into it I think Melissa Herdon could move up to the top tier of the lady players.

Perhaps one of the Rakin girls in a few years.

Tiffany Nelson should have been. She had a third place finish when she was only 14. I predicted she would be World Champion some day, maybe by age 18. She chose education instead, completing collage before embarking on the tour full time. Somehow she has never lived up to her potential as a pool player. In the long run, I believe she made the right choice for herself. She probably has a good job when not on tour.

Anna Kostanian:thumbup:

What do you mean, an African or European swallow?...

Do you mean American-born ladies player?

If you just mean the next great player on the American ladies tour, then my money is on Jasmin Ouschan, who is Austrian.

Anna Kostanian would be a close second. But she was born in Armenia, so she is also not an American native.

If you mean American-born, then I'm not sure.

i think

i think bumper(sarah) and anna are going to have very bright futures! they both deserve them! go get um ladies!
