I just went back to IT career and been living in London and sorting out property etc. back to the real world as some would say. Moving back to Oz in the summer though but not after lots of travels so thought might dust down the cue and make a fool of myself

I am not too familiar with Boyes, but Melling doesn't impress me, in a long contest.
No, I would not want to play him daily!!!!
I think Karl won the world 8 ball last year, Melling has a very impressive cue action but of course Daz has set the bar.
Melling sure does seem to have big firepower, but I don't think his game would hold up very well against guys who shoot easy shots all day and night long.
WTF would I know though, having only seen a few sets of him playing?
Howdy 1... Melling is my new favorite after some of his Mosconi Cup shots.
You'll see some old familiar faces but you'll also be missing several... lots of bans lately. Neil went away for a bit but I think is back, PJ just started a 2 year break, you'll be heartbroken to hear Jam has voluntarily taken a break... several others have drifted off. But then again John Barton's back and a few of us never left.
Anyway, it's more or less SSDD. Welcome back.
