Nice 9-ball run-out

Today:
Score 8 - 8, race to 9, no gambling, I got ball in hand on this layout.

I came out of position twice in the run, to short to the 3-ball and to the 7-ball I hit the 8 thicker than expected. Changed gameplan both times, and it worked out pretty well.

GOOD feeling after the table was cleared :D

I was very proud :)

My original plan was to shoot both the 3 and the 7 in the top left corner, and the 4 in the side, off the 5-ball.

Would any of you play this different?

Remember, this was no gamblingmatch, only pride, so maybe it was a little easier to try the runout. Perhaps the correct way would be a safety, but where, and how?

Even the way it turned out, I think I'd have played the three in the corner, not the three in the side. Still, your solution was a nice one. Great shooting.
