Well I would say its for me but Fat Ba##ards cousin says I never bought a cue in my life so it mustn't be mine...

Very nice work Mr. Tucker. I am sure whoever (JV?)this belongs to will be very happy. It sure looks like it will be well worth the wait. What a tedious process I am sure.

Looks something like this...

JV

Lets do the forearm inlays in the traditional pattern shown on the right...

Cue is pretty close.. I like the centered diamond over the long barbell.. could have gone either way.. good job

Of course, this is just my opinion, Joe....but I really think the cue will have a better overall flow if the same inlay that is in the butt, were used in the points as well, on a smaller scale, of course. I think that that inlay design is just unique enough that it would be a shame not to repeat it in the points.

I know you love those Szam-styled inlays...but I just think that Murray has hit onto something here with the inlay design.

I'm also going to say...I really like the veneer colors!! Once it's finished, I think the whole cue is going to 'pop' more than a microwave bag o' popcorn. :D

Most times I would agree, but I don't like barbells in points... I like diamonds and dots. Since there is already color in the points, I don't think the barbell will add anything. If the points were void of color, then I might agree.

Either way, Joe, the cue is going to look amazing! And very likely, will play even better...if it plays anything like the short splice Tucker that runscott has...you won't want to put it down!! :D

Lisa ---> still lusts after a certain snakewood Tucker. :o

Well after having a few of them, I know they play good... :) Funny thing the only one I have seen after sale was Big Pimpin, the ebony/ebony cue. I haven't seen any of the others come up... had a Hoppe style, a PH no point cue, big pimpin, and I think one other...

I know you had a tulip plain jane on your site, back when someone was looking for a Tucker...maybe that was it?

Actually, perhaps not so funny that other than Big Pimpin' (I remember that one!) none of the others have resurfaced. Most of us Tucker owners are smart enough to know NOT to part with our cues. They're just too good, and you never know if and/or when you may have a chance for another. :)

Murray must really like you! :D

Please do share when it is finally completed...I cannot wait to see it!!

I like going to Murray's place cause A- I like machinery, and B- I like the food in town. My better half doesn't see the appeal of the southern palate, and she surely doesn't get grits, country fried steak, biscuits and gravy. Once in a while she'll get a sweet tea. So when I get that half day to goof off, I head to Murrays. Plus on the way back I hit 1 or 2 pawns...

Well I've heard you own a Skip Weston and some shitty team's cue, so at least you have two, right??

If you're going take shots at FB's cousin, at least do it in a medium in which he can respond... otherwise you're that guy who claims to have whipped his ass when he's not around, right? :p

Hey, I think it's been established he could post here if he wanted to. It's not like he doesn't do the same. He posts crap about me when he knows I don't want to be a part of anything he is a part of. I haven't made one claim about your buddy, nor have I ever instituted a shot at him. I only shoot back when I am told he has talked his usual crap about me on his side of the pond.

But just so you can report to him, I own a Szamboti, my modified Charger break cue, a Fanelli, Rubino break cue, Schrager and a James White. (don't own a Skip) This way at least he'll be able to say something truthful, not that has ever stopped him before.

JV

ps: I never claim to whip anyone's a$$.. especially when they are not around. I also don't do crap like trying to rhyme their name.. but maybe I'll try.. Sounds like Jim I sleep with men an (boys).. is that close? Is that cute? Brennan.. I sleep with men an.. pretty good huh?

Hey, you can tell him yourself. I just call it like I see, it so don't get all butthurt over what I said and change your post eleventybillions times....

I will say that you contradicted yourself, as you did insinuate a shot above when it wasn't provoked... In addition, I never claimed to be a "buddy" (what a gay term...) of his, but I do like him because of what he stands for...

Anyways, drop it like it's hot....

Really??? Would you like to put up your Searing???? Do I need to post a link? Sorry, unlike the other side, I won't link to the "other" forum. But you can bet all the money you want, that he struck first. It's in a thread involving the same cue.

You need to drop it, or not bring it up at all...
