I had never shot with a Josey but kept hearing great things about them.
Buying this one made a Josey fan. Josey Mace Cross 2004.
Cocobolo is one of my favorite woods... esp dark grain coco like this one.
Plays excellent. Looks just as good. Cue is in excellent condition.
I weighed it in at 19.3 approx 3.7 shaft and 15.6 butt.
Shaft is 12.9 directly under tip. Nice stiff hit. Slightest hint of bluing.
I love the hit of Josey's now.
Just wondering if it might be too fancy.... I may end up putting it in wanted/for-sale if I can find a simple sneaky.
Last pic courtesy of Joe. Thanks.

If you like the cue, and especially how it plays, why on earth would you consider selling it?!! No, it's not 'too fancy'...besides, no one falls for the 'sneaky pete' cue these days anyways. If anything, at least you won't have to worry about someone accidently picking up your cue mistaking it for a house cue.

It's a nice cue...play with it, enjoy it...you'll probably regret selling it anyways...just like I did with my first Josey S-03. Took me 3.5 years to get another Josey to replace it, and I am a happy player once again. Won't make THAT mistake again!!

I agree with Lisa, Cue Is beautifuly simple . I Love it. Jim

Yeah I agree... It is a great cue and overall compared to alot of cues on here, simple. I have a couple cues I only play with in tournaments and league. Other than those I like having the simplest 4 pt cue I can. It's great, just thinking about a simpler sneaky. Definitely one of my top 5 hitting cues I've tried. I've got my 2 favorite cues in the world and just wondering if I should sell this one. I bartend at a college pool hall so the cheaper sneaky's are perfect for me. I like it but with college expenses it's hard justifying 3 players and I refuse to ever sell the other 2. Stupid economy. Thanks for the responses and input.

Made the decision to list in the for sale section.... I will post it in the next few days. If anyone is interested in getting it before it gets put up let me know. Thanks.
