Nice Rotation match tonight

It's a great game. I'm into my second session. I got 607 points out of 700 1st session and missed going to the regionals by 6 fricken points.

Joe, not sure why you eliminated jump cues this session. IMO, it makes for more safes and lengthens matches, which were lengthened from 100 points to 150. I play at Gate City Billiards on 4 1/8" pocketed GC IV's with SuperSpeed Rails. That'll tighten your sphincter muscles and force a lot of safes.

What was the final outcome of the match?

125-87 Tommy
125-65 Joey
125-121 Tommy
Looked like script, Tommy took control halfway through game 1 and ran to finish line.
Game 2 Joey looked as focused as I've ever seen him, did not want to go down 0 for 2. he pretty much controlled the entire game.
Games 3 both players battled hard to score on their break and not let the other player pull away. Going into the last rack Joey's break, he needed 7pts and Tommy needed 3. Joey ran the 1,2,3 and had an off angle combo 4-14. Tommy made the 4,5,6 to win 2 out of 3 games.

Thanks to Snookers for hosting and both players who played gr8 and were perfect gentlemen! Tune in again this weekend to watch the 25th Annual Ocean State 9 Ball Championship.

Yea 4 1/8th is a lil tough for rotation. As for the jump cues we're just trying to force our players into becoming better at kicking. And I think without the jump cues there will be more ball in hands and the game will actually go faster. 6 fricken points!

hey joe,

just wanted to give the recognition that you deserve for all of your efforts. i use rotation as a warm up and i usually just end up sticking with it for the whole session. it's a great new game.

the match itself was fun to watch. both players are great shotmakers and play with ease. great 2 players to pick.

TY and thanks for tuning in. 2 Lefties were easy to watch.

Watched the first game without a hitch. When the second game started the stream kept freezing up on me. It got so every 10 or 15 seconds it would have to rebuffer and I finally got tired of it. Nice while it lasted, though. I'm sure they'll work out the bugs in short order.

Sorry about that, I think that was my fault and the only problem I think we had. I stopped the recording after game 1 and we had a problem and had to reboot, after that everyone seemed happy.

Pretty cool stuff. Only observation is that the score should be on the top of the screen. The ads hid the score time and time again with the score shown on the bottom.

Thanks for the heads up on that and for sweating it.

Thanks for posting about the stream.

Watched the match and really enjoyed it. Looking for more from you guys. Looks like you got a winner with the game and stream.

Yes, 25th! Ocean State 9 Ball Championship. UpstateAL is coming down and will be in the booth/ Strickland & Shaw are suppose to come down tonight from NY

Can anyone confirm I heard there was going to be a Calcutta this weekend? Might have to take the trip to Rhode Island if indeed there is one. Sorry I know this post is off topic

Mike Deshaine is playing some ten ball on that site right now. He just got mad as hell when he failed to get out and stabbed the cue ball real hard. Funny.

That's the plan and I think they're planning on starting it early, like a half hr before the cut off for sign ups. I think that'll make it tough though?
