Nice run! - Landon Suffett.

Landon and I get together frequently to practice........mostly 9-ball or 10 ball. Lately we've been playing some straight pool. Last time we played I ran 44 in my second inning, miscued, and then sat in my chair and watched Landon run a nice 78. It's only a matter of time before he's running 100's on regular basis.

He played a little with John Smidt at DCC. I think I wrote one of the first articles about Landon years ago for Inside Pool. His dad is great player in his own right, and if I remember right a certified instructor.

I was hoping someone (one of the top pros) would take him and work with him on a few things, he seems like a great kid!

Great stuff! I think more and more players are realizing how great a game 14.1 is.

Landon is a good kid, and it is nice to see his dad get some recognition. I met them in Athens years ago(even played Landon in the Red Willis memorial in SC), and let me tell you, Stan Shuffet played VERY good. Stevie now raves about the teachings of Mr. Shuffet, as do most people who have tried it. Couldn't happen to a nicer family. Matt

I'm curious of Landon's high run in straight pool. Has he run over 100 in play or practice yet?

The 78 is Landon's high run. He's after the 100 though.
Landon has had some very good instruction from John Schmidt plus he watches both videos of John's. Also, Danny Harriman's video is one that's in Landon's rotation for 14.1. Thanks to John and Danny for all they do in keeping 14.1 in the mainstream.

Thanks, muttley76. Landon and I both had a great time at the Red Willis Memorial.

Stevie is a great student, player and instructor.

When we're together Stevie always spends table time with Landon. Stevie is surely having a very positive impact on Landon's game.
