I pretty green when it comes to 3C but short of a zig-zag down to the corner, I'm not sure how else he would have shot it. His speed was perfect.

I think he was playing it. I wish the table I play on was fast enough for that to be a good alternative to the "normal" around-the-table shot (which would have been hard to get long enough in that position).

Bob, I agree with you. I also think he was playing it the way he shot it, if he was to play it around the table he would have had to modify the the angle comming off the first rail which would put the kiss factor into the red ball, by shooting it the way he did he eliminated that entirely.
