Nick v/d Berg versus Gabe Owen

Which date is it? Will they be playing for a cash prize or is it for a tin cup?

Thanks for sharing...

TONIGHT: LIVE ON THE INTERNET

Nick v/d Berg versus Gabe Owen

STARTS AT 20:30 CET

I can't get the poolcam to work! :(

Looks like the Oklahoma Kid rustled up himself a little Amsterdam ACTION!

If I had to make a pick between the two of them, I'd bet my V-dough on the Boy Wonder Gabe Owen. They ain't seen how we do it out here in the Wild West! :D

JAM

If I did all my conversions right, it should start at 2:30pm this afternoon. Amsterdam is 6 hours ahead.

For those not in Skess' time zone, Amsterdam is +1.00 GMT.

JAM, for the Pool Cam to work make sure you are using MS Internet Explorer with an up-to-date version of Windows Media Player installed (I have v10 on Windows XP) and it should work.

Stream is not bad quality, but they've figured out how to insert online adverts since the last time I watched it. One of the fun things about this cam is watching the casual bar players shooting winner-stays-on. Reminds me of my mis-spent youth.

Wow I stumbled upon this just before the start of the match, maybe I'll just enjoy a top class money game while I enjoy my lunch, thanks for the info.

P.S. I would be shocked if there wasn't a buck or two on the line.

v/d Berg vs Owen

Has anyone else noticed that Owen in the banner for this site is playing left handed? I don't recall that being the case at the US Open. Is my memory that bad?

Jim Eales

They probably just Photoshopped it and flipped it over to make the banner layout nicely symetrical.

Match seems to have started early, hard to tell as there's no audio commentary or score what's going on. Gabe's in a light green/beige shirt, NVDB is in black. Gabe seems to be reaming him but good. If I am seeing it right I think Gabe won the set, and is now appears to doing a "challenge the pro" taking on all-comers.n Not sure if NVDB will be back for more, if so he'd need some weight if he wants a chance.

Gabe seemed to be banking the 9 all the time, perhaps this was a handicap?(IE Gabe has to bank the 9 but not NVDB)

NOTE - They are playing on an 8' table, not a 9'. (According to the Nes-Cafe website info)
