Nickname Dilemma for AZB

Are you sure you want to use a nickname? I just read the whole "Weed Out" thread and found out there are folks on here that frown on people who don't use their real name.

It won't matter to me though. If you prefer to be known as Tigger or Tigga, I'll be alright with it. Really!

Well, I'll still be signing it Melinda sometimes, plus, with this thread, everyone will now know. :)

Melinda "Gayle Force" Hinojosa sounds good to me

If I went by Melinda Gayle a lot, I would.. but, not many people know that is my middle name.

So far, if I keep the nickname Trigger, I will change it to "aka Trigger" (thanks, Pinocchio!)

Ill be sure to announce it Sunday!!

Gayle tends to make you think of wind (what Americans call gas us Brits call wind) so maybe not a good idea to use that. Unless you're a big fan of beans of course! I'm guessing not.

Who do you work for as a meteorologist? Maybe add something from that. What do NBC5 call their radar? Storm Track? How about VIPIR?

If you're fond of masse's how about twister?

I can see I'm gonna get a headache thinking about this!:o

Only my Mom calls me Melinda Gayle (well, when I was living at home and got in trouble): "Melinda Gayle, get away from that!"

If it was, "Melinda, what are you doing?!" Then I knew I wasn't in that much trouble because she didn't add 'Gayle'. :)

How about melinda "the texas trigger" ?

That's very catchy, but I may not always live in Texas.

I work for the National Weather Service. And twister doesn't really describe me... :(

I may have to stick with Trigger (which is fine, I like it!). But, I'm open for more suggestions. I even looked up everything that rhymed with Melinda. Nothing weather related, that's for sure. LOL.

Up here in the Great White North we have a much welcomed warm breeze called Chinook

I hadn't thought of that one yet... hmmm...

As soon as you said it I was also thinking "Gail Force". The fact that you don't use your middle name is actually perfect. Nicknames are not supposed to be obvious , more ominous and mysterious. Supposed to make 'the other guy' sweat alittle just hearing whos coming up next. ;)

No ones going to be worried about playing "Little Miss Sunny Day" . :D

You make a good point, but I don't like Gail Force... Gerda's nickname is close to that... not that I will be a pro or anything, but still!

I shouldn't even mention this, but I used to have a great nickname that I loved, but it turns out someone else had it so I can't use it. It was The Quiet Storm.

Yes, that is why I'm staying away from Twister, because of Vivian.

Melinda Dilemma is catchy - I can't make up my mind sometimes on how I should shoot certain shots. ;) That sounds real powerful and should scare my opponent! LOL.
