The one that took Rempe on the road when he well lets see 19 or took Gary Penkowski on the road for years or Allen Keil -- get the picture. That is why I don't gamble. I have seen enough of it for 10 lifetimes. I never knew a successful gambler well only one!
I don't care if you know my abilities I am not a blood sucker nope I work for my money! When John Schmidt asked me if I was ever a professional pool player and I said no I work for a living and He and his backer said at the same time What the F$%^ do you do that for well this is why.

A am blessed with my great job and my job is my blessing. And that is the working man's blessing and old gamblers see it a little too late.

I will cherrish this cue for the rest of my life!

It started like this I ran 5 racks and out in a race to 9. When I told the guy I was playing I just ran five racks he said no short stop can run five racks and the first rack didn't count because he broke and I was a short stop!
I said really well you just stand there and hold that rack because we are going to play one more set and you are not going to get a shot. This got Randy and Johns attention because they were two tables over and John was giving Randy lessons. Then I announced that I was telling him that I was not talking about letting him even see a ball if I shot a hook. I was going to run 9 and out! Then I did just that laughing at him the whole time.
By the time I got to the eight ball on th eight rack he just said I give you the set! I said GGee thanks alot and shot the eight straight into the rail just to bust his ass. He said what are you doing do you realize what you just did? I told him I didn't really care. That is when John and Randy asked me if I was ever a profeessional player.

All I know is what I see and approx once a week I get together with Nick and he watches and gives me lessons or tips if you want to call them that.
What I see is while Nick is talking to me he pockets ball after ball, making the cue ball change directions off the rail for sweeet leaves again & again. After he realizes that I'm just watching and not shooting, he gives me ball in hand to run all I can......
When he is serious about what he's doing, he doesn't miss
I have no reason to doubt anything he tells me, he is one of those few who can back up what ever they say.
In closing all I can say is "I sure wish I had Nick's talent" I don't, I just try hard over and over and over and it is paying off, I may not be a "hot" player but I get the most improved award and I'm not bull headed, I know when I see talent and learn all I can...... & talent Nick has in spades.
In fact I wouldn't be suprised if he doesn't know the extent of his talent or
the range of his intelligence........

I would like to apologise to John Schmidt for mentioning him here. He has told me that he really wasn't paying attention and would not want to say anything either way. The life of a professionaal player is tough enough without having frivilous things like this in there lives and I do apoligise for all of this.
I would like th thank John for his time and trouble he really aint a bad guy at all. I like him! Thank you for your time again John and keep winning!

hey Nick... isnt that the same cue that you use when i torture you in the sets we play every single sunday??? we have been playing for several months now and i think you might have broke and ran 2 racks total in MONTHS!!! you are a very good guy but i dont know what you are talking about... i was downtown yesterday talking to John and even though i new better i asked him about your supposed rack running... he had absolutely no idea who you were and no idea what i was talking about... come on man... put the pipe down and come back to reality... dont go towards the light...
