Nights at the Round Table??? You gotta see this

Another "place" to see a table like that

Another "place" to see a table like that, is in the old classic SCI-FI movie named "Silent Running".
There was actually a robotic arm that would come down and shoot shots, so you always had an opponent.
I believe the cloth was royal blue.

I'd sit around and watch a game. I might even play a round or two. I don't think Brunswick would make it but if they did, it'd be Gold Crowned. ;) Maybe our trick shot competitions could use this table in the preliminary rounds.

That Round Table would have to have at least a 16 to 20 foot diameter to present the full challenge given by common 8 to 10 foot tables. Think about it ...

How come?

I just want to try using running english on that table. you could probably go around a few times.

Recall reading about round tables in other forums. Wonder if all the standard rules still apply. I think it's a whole new concept to kicks and banks.

I remember seeing a 90 Degree table in some issues of BD from the 90's.
I Googled, but could not find a photo of it.

It was in as Ad for a room that had it.:)

As far as the round table, I would scratch on every shot.:D

How's about a coffin-shaped table?

when I was in Broome at the Pearlers Tavern, West Australia
they had that circular table, maybe a pocket less and
a hole(pocket) in the middle of the table too. 2004
It was fun to play on, as pubs are, when people are drinking.
We played on comp tables though.
But even when I went there another time to play a friend,
with a bunch of two dollar coins made taxi driving, I wouldn't look at it.
Shots were crazy but my friend who is a player took delight in it.
