Nine Ball UK Open.

orcullo being pushed by pecelj, 7-7. serbian aleksa pecelj has maybe been a bit overshadowed by fellow balkan player sanjin pehlivanovic, but pecelj is himself very capable.

Anyone else notice that the youtube table is playing as a drop pocket but the Facebook table is using a ball return?

Mora either gets a phenomenal roll or has brass cajones. Hits a safety so thin, I slowed it down to .25 speed and still barely saw the ball shudder. Beats Thorpe 9-8.

yeah that was super thin, i upped the video quality to 1080p to see the contact. it was a good shot. billy should have won though, but he snookered himself earlier.

sorry to say, but referring to the discussion earlier on melling and imran, they're looking washed up. both of them. imran leading 6-3 after both had blew the 9-ball. i don't know why they picked this as a tv table match.

Yep, In this format was there a ref calling the contact? I heard Billy asking Morra if he hit it and then let it drop. Just wondering if there was a ref there, or if not, Billy could have requested a video review.

Either way it was a good hit. Both players missed position several times, like they were having trouble with table speed.

the ref covers two tables, so he was probably at the other table. it wasn't really a situation where you'd think you'd need a ref either, pretty standard safety shot. billy took john's word for it, and handled it professionally imo

that 14 year old has a very bright future. still in, but on the loser side. he made a nice comeback vs sky from 0-5 to 5-5 but sky played clutch the last racks. young riku is the story of the tournament so far.

the usual suspects filler, svb, orcullo are plowing through towards last 16 in full speed (i think in the 45 racks svb played he has lost 6). but alcaide and fortunski will be having to duke it out. coin flip, that one

Yes. Here's a link to the Sky / Riku match (it's at the end) for those who didn't see it. He held his own.
