NYC cue dude said:I own the wii pool and yes, the controller is used very much like a cue, difference being no bridge hand.
What is remarkable is that to be god at this game, one MUST use follow, draw and english WELL, along with spped control to be consistently good at this game.
Unfortunately, only nineball is played with some rule differences.
Too bad they dont have straight pool.![]()

Andrew Manning said:Interesting. Sounds like you could fix the controller to the forearm of your cue with some rubber bands and actually use your cue as your game controller.
The wii is such a cool system. I think the motion-sensitive game controller is the future of console gaming.

Aye, there's the rub. I always thought that the whole Wii gaming system was somewhat of a novelty. It was really fun at first, and for non-sports games its still pretty fun. But after an hour of bowling on Wii sports, or a couple games of Wii pool... well... I'd rather really be playing pool!Icon of Sin said:Its pretty fun, but after a rack or 2 of Wii pool it just makes me want to go downstairs and play the real thing.
