Nip made history at Buffalo's Billiards the Worlds pool hall!!

that is not the definition of "race to 5". "race to 5" means first person to win 5 games. Your quote above indicates the winner is first person to win 3 games.

that is either "race to 3" or "best of 5".

And if you truly meant "race to 5" then OP would be on 4 games with 1 ball left.

either way, sounds like Nip (don't know him) played very well to come back and win.

I corrected it for you. And I apologize as well for the wrong words for the a head set!!! That is why they were only using 1 coin. It was a great come back for Nip! I asked Nip what the race was and he said a race to 5 games. That is what threw me off! Thanks.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

Hey 12,
Nip had no games, when the other guy was on the hill and needed one ball. The coin was on the fourth diamond by the side pocket for Nip's opponent! Nip did win 2 games but that only backed the coin up 2 diamonds. And his OP had went right back to the hill! Is this OK now? Thanks.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

Ahhhh, it was a 5 ahead set...now it makes sense. :)

I see you did not read the thread! Nip is not a random guy! Now how can a race to five games be one game? And for a $1000.00. Read the thread!!!!
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

I read the thread. It was a very incomplete. What was the game count? What was the ball count. Did you proof read your post because it didnt mean squat without more info.

I've read enough....even read 3/4 of the post on Buddy Hall giving up weight....Lock N Load...are you like 14 years old ? Seriously, your posts sound like a kid juiced up on Pepsi and M&M's, thumbing thru his first Penthouse magazine.

99% of your responses and sentences end in exclamation points !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you realize that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Your Ritalin needs to be adjusted dude....seriously.

Sorry to everyone else for this rant....but I cant be the only one thinking it.

I am not going to say anything bad to you at all. You're talking about my sentences and you start one after a period with a small letter. You have been a member here on AZB since 2007 and you have 115 post. Now you want to jump on me. Well go right ahead enjoy yourself!
Now at the bottom of your post you have a GTO with 1400 HP. With 2 stages of NOS... I won't go into drag racing though. As I ran NHRA Stock and super street, with 10:90 standard.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

Ummm...can you show me where I ended a sentence, and then started another with a small letter please ? If you mean this >..........it's called a "pause" sir.

Here's a few pictures for you, in case you think I'm bullsh*tting. The car scaled at 3640 lbs with me in it (6'3...240 lbs), and ran 8.20's @ 165 mph.

And why the poster gives as little information as possible about the post he started...

think dude was the end as I see several periods. But I was talking about what I do, not you. How many NHRA events have you won so far and what class does your car run?
I do not go around talking bad about people at all. If I do not like a post I simply do not read it.

well

My girlfriend said she dated a guy with a car like that ,she said he had a big ol belt buckle and a tiny ........................little ....................nose ....ha ha :nanner:.
Seriously guys this is a pool forum .Lock was just blowing a little local smoke towards Nip ,a guy he knows who plays in his local room.If you don't know nip or like what Lock post you always have the option of not reading it .Lock is an older legend around certian areas and yeah he may get excited and ad a extra mark or two or even post a few more times than some of us but hey show some respect .My mom is retired and sends me about every forward email she gets .Sometimes because she did not grow up in this digital world we live in I have to take some extra time and explain some stuff to her .I'm not trying to stir nothing up and I don't mean any harm and hope my little lead in joke is taken in good stride. I just feel you need to lighten up on Lock,he is a good soul ,you may learn something from him yet .

Hey Balls,
Let me put this in perspective for you! The Op won the first 2 games then Nip won 2 games, the OP then went to the hill and needed only 1 ball to finish the set and win the cheese. This was a One Pocket 5 ahead set! The first man to get to 5 games wins!! You are correct! Thanks.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

Lock...5 ahead is also known as a 5 game freeze-out...someone has to
be 5 games UP to win the set.
Race to 5 is the equivalent of best 5 out of 9.
I was holding $4,000 stakes once at our pool hall and had to turn off the
lights till they got it straight...one guy thought he was playing '5 ahead'
and one guy thought he was playing 'race to 5'.

But you know what I like about your threads?
It's like sittin' around a pool hall and a conversation starts like how your
threads start.....you create DIALOGS instead of MONOLOGS.

You're a very sociable person ( I think that's why Bartrum likes you )
...so don't change a thing...the 'Locks' take no prisoners...
