Awesome

Wow, I think this is the first ebony nosed forearm from Nitti that I remember seeing. I think the cue looks great. Can't wait to see the finished product. Please keep us posted it will be a stunner.

Thanks

Kevin

Wrap?

Hey Everyone. I wanna hear opinions for a wrap on this cue. I am leaning towards the faux lizard, but I do like how a pigskin would look. Any other suggestions?

Ok. Here's my take.

Why faux-lizard? Its a high-end Chris Nitti cue. Its got ivory points, ivory rings, ivory inlays, and (hopefully) an ivory joint. Its got a lot of work in it. Then you're gonna go with faux lizard?

No. Here's my take. The difference between lizard and leather in relation to classiness or to the "high end factor" is virtually non-existent. It just boils down to taste.

Now, if you like leather, go with leather. If you like the look of lizard, go with lizard. But I genrally dislike the lizard-print leather. It may not wear as easily as actual lizard but I've seen you shoot. You don't really keep your back hand on the wrap. Do you? I thought I recalled your hand being on the buttsleeve.

I would do leather for this cue. Lizard for lighter woods with more figure. But thats just me.

Thanks for the reply. How have you been. Long time no see!!!!

You hit it all right on the head. I like the durability and the tactile feel of a faux lizard better than lizard or regular leather, and I do hold my cue on the buttsleeve normally. Well, that really depends on the shot. So it is noted that Brian would prefer a regular leather. Would you do textured like a pigskin or a smooth leather wrap?

I really like the forearm on your Nitti cue and I hope to see the finished cue when you get it......
