No more forum rules?

What happen to the forum rules? People are bumping their threads 4 times a day now? Is this the new norm?:frown:

I think he was referring to the people who are bumping an absurd amount of times in one day. And then bumping consistently over multiple days for no apparent reason. But I do agree with him and would like to know when unlimited bumping rule came around.

Do you mean like this newbie.

I PM'd this new member earlier this morning, and as politely and respectfully as possible,I advised him about over bumping and bashing. He replied to me,"If you don't like what I write don't read it"
Great attitude huh? He joined in March, and he has been a member less than 72 hours.

I doubt you will get a definitive answer to this. All I have to say is that I am glad I am not selling anything at this time. It must be very frustrating to say the least. :shakehead:

Yeah. Sometimes a poster will start a thread here in the FOR SALE section, even though nothing is for sale/wanted.

When asked, they always say they do it because more people will see their special lil' thread here, knowing it's in the wrong place.

In other words, it's OK for them to break the rules, because they're spe-shul.

CAN YOU IMAGINE???

So thanks for contributing to the problem....

Extremely frustrating.I do have items for sale at this time, and they disappear quickly due to overbumping.

Many of us continue to share your frustration / disgust. All I have done in the past is to PM the AZ HOUSE PRO & JERRY FORSYTH with my concerns. If many of us make their concerns known to these men, I would hope we will see some action made to the violators. Paul Del Giudice (PVD1).

Seriously?

You start a thread in the wrong section - a thread about rules compliance, no less. I comment that by doing so you're perpetuating the very issue that you claim to be against, so you RED REP me?

So you're all for the rules, unless it involves you.

And you have the audacity to question what happened to the rules? Wow.

Well, some folks decided the rules didn't apply to them. That's it's OK to make an exception for themselves, because they have a point to make. And that exception path is one slippery slope.

Listen, we've both been here a long time with great reputations. I'm really not looking for a flame war or pissing contest. That's not how I roll.

I was merely pointing out the irony and obvious contradiction in your post.

Let's just agree to disagree on this issue.

And i'm not red repping you back because, I mean, really??

Sorry

Sorry I was guilty for two threads/2 days ,but I just reduced the price 2-3 times on separate occasions and got rid of stuff sorry. if it messed anything up sorry again , but people countlessly put dumb comments in other threads and do bs ,thus not going by the rules and putting their Meucci in front of me and it pisses me off lol

I am guilty however my two bumps were significant price reductions each time. If I am in the wrong my apologies and will not do again.

So, what's the solution? I'm sure there's been a lot of reporting....at times I have reported rules infractions, too. If that's not working, what's the next step(s)? Red repping the offending parties? Seems a little overboard.....but....what's left if you PM them and they ignore you or tell you to piss off....or if you report the threads and nothing's done.

OP, WHAT EXACTLY IS FOR SALE HERE?
Did i miss item description somehow?
Oh...Oh...This is a threat about breaking rules...I see...
So, it is ok for some to break rules as long as they talk about other members breaking same rules.....I see.
Please accept my sincere apologies. I did not realize that you are breaking many rules for a good cause here. Sorry.
