And I called shooters in southington ct tonight cus I felt like playing somewhere different. And they say it's 7 an hour! Ok so I ask is there a night time pass for a single fee cus I play for aWhile. And she said no but after 7 it's $2 an hour. Ooh ok that's not bad.
I show up at 7:3o and said 2 an hour that's not bad. They said are u crazy!? It's 7 plus 2 because it's "premium time" I say WTf is premium time. They said after 7. So anyway it's fuxking 10 an hour here. It's a damn ripp Offffff.
If your in ct don't even think to go to shooters. They are out of their minds. Go to Yale Billiards. The weekends it's $7 for the whole night. And 4 an hour every other night. My god I'm pissed.

9 an hour (7+2) is OK for night weekend play. Tons of places I have been to charge more. Do some more traveling and you'll see.

If they don't fill the room every night all night after 7 then they're fools. If they do then the price is right.

At $10 and hour you can afford your own table at home.

I grew up on $8/hour and honestly, when someone complains about paying $9 over 15 years later, it just comes off like whining.

This isn't the 1950's anymore, nobody should expect to get entertained for 10-15 bucks a night.

You spent a thousand dollars on shafts (most of which you don't even need), but want to have a nit fit over paying $2 an hour more? when pool halls are failing constantly all over the country?

Nobody go drinking, bowling, or golfing either, because you might end up spending enough to buy four happy meals.

Our room is 8/hour all weekend and weekdays after 6. Half price weekdays before 6. Memberships are limited to the first 20 to sign up each month, and are 50 for unlimited play, or 30 if you play in one of the in-house leagues. 10 Diamond Professionals. Pretty good deal.

The Billiard Palace in Tulsa was $2.50 an hour for a single player week days.
Don't know what it is now since The Palace was integrated into Magoo's

We have a local bowling alley that has 5 bar boxes, they are $2.25 an hour.
They used to be $.50 cent coin slots but someone broke into the place and among other things, wrecked the coin boxes open with pry bars to get the quarters. The owner didn't want to fix them so he went to hourly.

Thank you criminals... I guess.

Welcome to the states. I applaud your attempts to use our language.

Unlike your native country, I'm guessing one of the more socialist of the EU, we actually work for a living here. Places have to charge for pool time.

Best. Intro. Ever.

£10 an hour (idk what it is in dollars) here and a 30 mile road trip to get there. And once your there you have the choice of playing on the beer stained table or the bodily fluid stained table. I'd donate a kidney to have a pool hall in my town with decent tables for $9 or $10 (depending on your level of math skill).

Funny thing is you'd have got away with bashing on a competitor if you hadn't let slip you work for shooters LOL

No, he said he works for another pool room (about 18 miles away).
