A member named Panhdlce posted a following post on the thread
"I'll take it, done deal......" and we proceeded to trade PMs regarding payment method. He preferred sending money order (I prefer PayPal) so I provided my name and address. On Sunday morning, he PM'd that he will send a money order on Monday.

Sunday night, I went to update the Mike Stacey thread ("sold") only to note that Pandhlce removed his acceptance post. I checked and noted that I did not receive any PM or email from him

I'm ok that Pandhlce wants to retract the offer to buy the cue. I'm not OK that he went "covert" and remove the post of acceptance without contacting me after he agreed to send the payment and received my full name and address.

I contacted this member in reference to a Jerry Rauenzahn cue that appeared to be the same cue I had trouble with Aaron Painter (pain_pool)
He stated that it was not the same cue. Funny how the signatures on it were identical, and no one can sign anything exactly the same twice.

This is my first bad experience on the board among many positive buying and selling on the board. Just an isolated incident, I think.

My beef is that he didn't have the courtesy to contact me if he changed his mind ... instead, he just deleted his post and it took numerous PMs from me for him to finally get back to me.

Well it's one thing to quit in the middle of negotiation ... but far worse to quit after an agreement is reached. Especially without even a courtesy PM.

Anyway, on far more bright side, another AZer rekindled my hope and faith in mankind by stepping into buying the Stacey cue and paying up via PayPal .. all in matter for few hours and a couple of PM. This is how things should work

Jazz, I wanted to buy the Stacey from you when I said I wanted to buy it, not later, also you did not send me any Paypal address nor your full name and a shipping address A.S.A.P. so I bought a cue from JW Petree instead and paid via Paypal within minutes.

I made Ken with HighEndCue's an offer on a SW, buy the time he was willing to accept that offer I had already purchased/traded cues and did not have cash in hand as I did when I made him a offer.

The Wormiator was beyond understanding when I inquired about the purchase of a SW and then did not make the financial investment neccesary to buy a SW.

I spent a few thousand in a couple minutes and that is how I prefer to do buisness........... if you don't like it, don't have anything to do with me, the people I have bought from I sent money and they shipped, short, sweet, and too the point, end of story.

When you e-mailed me you did NOT give me your full name OR your shipping address, or PayPal address, on the following e-mail you did supply that info. I don't normaly check my PM's daily, or check this web site daily, I don't have time to deal that way, nor to check PM's, nor think of pool daily. Somtimes I check this site a few times in a 1 hour period.

I just had transactions with Deacon, Dick Abbott, Nick Serdula, Cueaddicts, Daytona Joe, RIP, JW Petree and several other people to the tune of over 12K in the last 30 days time, I've sent cashiers checks overnight, including shipping and PayPal fees even if the seller did not request those fee's, I don't think any of those people had any trouble accepting/receiving money from me, and don't think they would have any trouble in the future making deals or accepting overnighted cashier's checks from me.

My dealings with Bogie were not good, I did not send promised funds when I said I'd send them, for that I am sorry, but all my remorse does not change the past.......

When I get involved with cues I'm involver with cue's, When I am involved with my business which is about 14 - 16 hrs a day six days a week. I'm involved with business and don't even think of cue's

I'll be more upfront about that in any future dealings I have with any AZers, thats all I can think of to say........ if you don't want to deal with me, in the future, I understand that also and take no offense

You are twisting the facts. You act as if Jazz's cue was one of many you inquired about and whoever got back to you first got your business. Nope. You said you would buy it. He responded. You asked for a mailing address and said you were sending payment once you got it.

Then you changed your mind, took the time to delete your post from AZ, and did NOT take the time to tell Jazz you were backing out? If you hadn't deleted your post from AZ, maybe you could use the excuse that you weren't on AZ, or busy "not thinking about pool every day" like you claimed. But you came onto AZ, deleted your post, and stonewalled Jazz. Totally lame.

FWIW, I have had one straightforward deal with Pahandlce on a Carmeli pete a few months ago without any problems. I have had members of this forum tell me they were sending dough for a cue (not just kicking the tires) and then disappear without so much as a courtesy PM or call. I don't like it and try not to do that to anyone but, unfortunately, things happen that way some of the time.

Hay everybody

Mr Phil is a very buisy gentleman and dosen't opperate on real time too buisy. He collects high end cues at his leasure! Problem being he has no liesure time. So expect to be dealt with on his terms. He is very easy to deal with but it is on Phil time not real world time! Becuase he is a construction engineer and runs his own firm he being very successful finds pleasure in what little spare time he has buying cues. If anything comes up with his business it will come before his cues every time and he hes no control over the circumstances of his work enviroment. So if he dosen't reply imediately it is because he can't HE WORKS FOR A LIVING! This cue thing is just a distraction to him for pleasure.
I will say he is a monster collector and a high end cue sellers dream Becuase we do not mind waiting for anyone sooner or later they do as promised. Cues don't eat anything and aren't going anywhere but up so waiting for a sale is no big deal.
If you are needing cash Mr Phil will dissapiont more than not. Only because you will have to wait until it is convenient for him not you to complete a sale. I don't see how he has time to buy one cue.
If you sell high end cues People that make you wait is a constant mostly because they are so buisy makeing big money they can only deal when they find time and for some that could be a month!
If panhdlce is slow completeing a transaction it is because he has to make sure all his business needs are taken care of first. Then comes family.
Last every time is cues! And he has no control over if he will or will not have any free time at all. Best to be nice to Mr Phil and patient. This is his hobby
and must he should be treated as such. Nick

If you talk in public about a fine cuemaker you should only say nice things sir! Phil didn't get the cue' He had talked to me and purchased a conversion from me only out of convenience. I am sure he would have no problem buying all 6 at any time. He is a friend. Icem as nice as we have treated each other you need to appolagise to Phil and and Paul Drexler. It is easy to make such a statment from the saftey of sitting behind your keyboard. From what I seen in my years of life you would be hard pressed to make that statment to my face in real life...... did you also say I was full of B.S.?
Big words and a big statment to make about someone were I come from.
In the time I was raised (the 50's) and coming from Chicago's North side if you made those type of statements about someone you would be handed your head is a basket so to speak.......
