I just bought something on ebay and received an email from the seller. In the email they said "My feedback policy... So that you know I will not forget to give you a good feedback,
I give you exactly the same feedback as you give me within 48 hrs."
This TOTALLY rubs me the wrong way and this person will not get feedback from me.
The seller grades the buyer on promptness... did the buyer pay promptly, did the buyer email/respond quickly... things like this.
The buyer grades the seller on email/response, shipping, and condition of the item.
According to the seller that I bought from, even though I was prompt in all aspects, if I find him NOT to be prompt or the item isn't as advertised, he's going to give me the same feedback.... F that!
I don't ebay a whole lot and there's been a few times where I've simply forgotten and by the time I go back on there, it's too late. I genuinely feel bad for forgetting.
There are a number of different reasons... the one's I've mentioned along with them possibly being new. If they only have a few items bought, they might not've learned the ways of the world where ebay is concerned... kinda like some people that come on here for the 1st time and post things in the wrong forum. It happens... some are forgiving and understanding while others are down right rude and refuse to take into consideration that the person is new to the forum and that they're not forum savvy.
As you can tell, there are a number of reasons why someone doesn't leave feedback.
