Not ready too

I've never shipped one but have received a couple. They came in a shipping tube and were protected inside that by bubble wrap. Worked very well.

I prefer that cues shipped to me be wrapped in bubble-wrap and placed in a heavy tube, which is then securely stored in the trunk of a Ferrari f430.

Cue shipping

You can get cardboard blueprint shipping triangle boxes from FedEx for free. I just turn them inside out and write on the outside. Then wrap your cue in bubblewrap. You can't really use too much. You'll also need some decent shipping tape to secure the outside of the box. I've never had a problem shipping a cue this way. Also, if you have a choice, I recommend USPS priority mail. It's the cheapest and fastest way to go aside from overnighting the cue.

Layani shipped my cue wrapped in bubble wrap in a PVC pipe with a cap on each end. Bullet proof.

Also had cues shipped wrapped in bubble wrap in the cardboard triangle box that seems to be the most popular method. The ends are taped over to prevent "accidental" opening.

The triangle shaped boxes are nice because they won't roll around or roll off machinery while being shiped.

What he said.

I like to put cues in the plastic sleeves .Then into the foam pipe insulation that you get from home depot. Followed by a little bubble wrap. That goes into cardboard tubes that are different sizes.( Have 10-20 from work)Finally into the free triangle boxes from the Post Office. Off they go Priority Mail.........Chuck

Alrighty, How to best ship and assure no-damage (UPS next day air)

Next Day Air is the fastest, least handled by everyone way to go

Take the Cue with and estimated value to a local UPS store, Why a UPS store and not pack it yourself or a ups hub you say? Because UPS stores
are not truly part of UPS, so they carry individual shipper insurance, so they pack everything like its going to war, worth the extra dollars. UPS stores and their insurance pay off about 100yrs faster than UPS , FEDEX, or USPS combined if something were to happen to a package that THEY packed and THEY shipped.

So the best way is to dont skimp on Premium Next Day Air service or Premium Packing.
