Not sure what to make of this on e-bay

From afar it looks like a production Joss butt..... however - that is a design that Schon had a while back (or very close to it). I'm guessing that maybe the buttcap has been replaced.

Original Schon shafts are stamped in that manner as well.

The only place it says schon is on the shaft? I'm not a schon expert but I thought they all said schon on the butt. Is this a schon or something else with a schon shaft?

I dunno if u noticed, but for a person with all those technical Terms and junk in his auciton. He never "states" that it is a Schon cue. He merely states that Schon is stated only on the shaft. In fact, he never talks about the butt at all. I be weary of that. If it was a casual auction with a newbie, I wouldnt mind. But this guy seems to know his way around the auctions.
