Now I'm pissed

Hi Danny,

I don't know what you were paying, but here is a quote I got last year from a US firm that does DVD reproduction. It was for a 2-DVD album. One DVD would be about $1.50 cheaper, I think. Let me know if you would like contact info -- their prices may have changed. I had to provide the artwork for the album cover and the hub. The cost would be higher for a smaller quantity. The turn-around time is about two weeks.

Hi Bob,

The cost for 400, 2 DigiPrinted DVDRs, 4 color insert, album and assemble would be $ 5.05 each.

Good info here.
I was surprised by Mullys reaction but also that others said nothing about the lack of cover etc.
The content is what is being purchased but I would have thought that there would have been some Jewel case production.

After reading Dannys post I really hope that someone isnt taking advantage of him. Your price is an average price and can be made cheaper. Danny should be getting a decent return on this venture.

Hopefully he will take either Mully up on his artwork deign offer or someone else here on AZ. There are some good minds here for graphics.

You can't deny that Danny kicks ass, and why does he kick ass? Because the dominoes fell in the proper order for him to kick ass. God, nature, the stars, the cards...whatever you call it, his kickassfulness was intricately woven by forces beyond our comprehension. He was given the environment, the opportunity, the coordination, the mindset, the "X" factor.
Nothing wrong with thanking God for the gifts you've been given.

rep to you Jeff! Just someone else stirring the pot.

Thanks Scott. I don't think Dave was trying to stir the pot. I've been a spiritual skeptic as well, so I understand where he's coming from. I just think it's good technique to feel grateful and blessed.

280 ball run

I have to ask, did you guys who are all dissatisfied with the DVD's appearance buy it for its aesthetic beauty, or the content of the DVD? I personally never look at the DVD itself while it is in my DVD player and I'm watching the content on my television.

It's basically a $35 straight-pool lesson, and one that you can go back and refer to an unlimited amount of times. Is it really over-priced to pay $35 to have a guy run TWO HUNDRED AND EIGHTY balls and walk you through it the entire time? I'm sorry, but this criticism is way out of line.
What Jimmy M said...........
As for the postage, it is 11.95 to send to any country in the world in a flat rate priority envelope, canada and mexico a lil cheaper. The zero postage meter is put on at PO for security reasons.

Hey Danny...your PM box is full. Please send me information on buying a copy of this run if you have one available.

Thank you.

Just one thing. Danny, god didn't give you anything. You and I have exactly the same amount of knowlege of god. None.

I am glad u like the DVD but your wrong for questioning my spiritual beliefs there star of David. Don't worry just because I know who to thank for my gift does not mean that I am trying to convert u to what I believe. I am not in the business of brainwashing people and don't judge u for your outlook on the meaning of life. In the future I would suggest that u try not to come off as a Mr. knowitall type, it's not my intention to get into a spiritual debate. I'm sure u think there was a big explosion like explanation for our existance, or maybe your a scientologist like tom cruise either way I don't condemn you.

I believe that God gave his only son so that we might live, I'm also of Native American descent and would consider myself a very spiritual person. When someone posts on here about them being a Christian it makes u look weak for telling them what there knowledge is on the subject of their own spirituality. The best thing to do is just leave it alone cause for some people it has changed there life for the best. Again this would not matter what Religion were referring to, if someone became a Buddhist and they are a better person for it than THAT IS HOW THEY DO IT IN THERE WORLD. Please try and keep your comments pertainig to Pocket Billiards Dave and you'll be allright in your world, I did not start this post about religion or christianity. If I feel that being humble Christian was what is apart of me having the ability to accomplish my 280 ball run than so be it, I am sorry that your so lost that you have to reassure yourself when someone like me thanks God for the gifts I have been given.
Remeber it is your perogative to think what u want but please don't tell me what my knowledge is about any subject compared to yours. You have not walked in my shoes Pal and don't know me, if someone is a better person cause they walk around barefoot then accept it and just realize that is how it's done in there World. Don't try and tell them that it's just as healthy to wear shoes cause they may have explored that option and found it better barefootin'. I could go on and on about this but the bottom line is we should all try to improve our quality of life (on this I think even u would agree atheist Dave.) If a person thinks he has been reborn and forgiven of his or her sins - and this persons quality of life is better then as the cycle goes it will help this same person to love his fellow brother and sister. This makes for a more peacefull and loving person who does become more balanced with the World in a positive way, this also can and will affect other people in a positive way.

I kid I kid

Bengals eh.. shame about Kenny Irons. I am a fan of his and am in touch with his father from time to time. Kenny will be back and is working hard.

Hi Danny

Thank you for your answer.

To begin with, you obviously have not the slightest idea of what the term Atheist means. You think I might be a Scientologist like
Tom Cruise.

You accuse me of being a "Mr. Knowitall", Yet, if you will reread my original statement you will see that it is an admission of ignorance. One of my favorite old sayings is "to know that one is ignorant is the beginning of wisdom". I do not know the source.

When a public figure, and you are a public figure, uses an open public forum to express his religious beliefs, that person should be prepared for rebuttal. Enough.

Danny, you are a great pool player and I have no doubt that you are also a very nice person.

I am a Rostafarean, Houston Texans fan who has to have some decent DVD art or I am just not a happy camper. Mully you should have waited until the entire DVD comes out on youtube and a thread with a short cut is posted by Scaramouche. Danny if you need any ideas for DVD cover art you should really consider any of the works by Salvador Dali..... Good stuff.:D

Exactly my thought too -- very well said. In fact, to me, it's blasphemy to hear all those so-called christians claim they got their skill, fortitude, or whatever, from god.

Somehow they got it and others didn't. Add in all the factors that gave them that gift and you'd have to call it fate, good fortune, or God. What do you guys have against being grateful for feeling blessed for being given a gift? Is it just that he's calling the bestower of his gift "God"?
It's not the coldly clinical people we should be learning from but the people who smile the most. A lot of them are religious.

And most of the religious people live in the Mid East.
