Now What Do The Pro's Do?

For Starters

They need to hire Michael Buffer to do the intro's.

"Lets get ready to Rumble" and have Earl and Jeremy with some kind of wild eyed look on their faces staring at each other with foam coming out of their mouths and nostrils.

And a little 90 year old lady trying to keep them apart.

Wresting did it and it worked.

But from what is have seen of Bonus Ball so far, Mr Buffer may be saying

"Lets get ready to Stumble".

Me like's to use apostrophe's along with acronym's too. I dont know if its technically correct, but I will never s'top doing it cuz I like to do it's. To me it's s'hows that the s'mall "s" i's not part of the acronyms serie's of capital letter's.

Example: What the world needs is two WPBL's. That way they could merge into one league eventually and grow exponentially.

EDIT: I'm guessing proper use of punctuation involving acronyms has not been defined officially. If it has, I'd like to know about it.

PS. Here's one that pets my peeve. I like Jim Wych as an announcer, but he is the worst about this. He will refer to a team or the audience. These are single entities, but then he will use the wrong form of a verb as if it were multiple entities (because the single entity is comprised of multiple individual entities I guess). For example, he will say something like "Team USA really NEED this match to have any hope of winning the cup." Shouldn't it be, "Team USA really NEEDS this match to have any hope of winning the cup."...?

Grammar, grammar. #$%@ the grammar police

This is a freakiin pool site. Get over the grammar and punctuation just listen to what people have to say.

If you can't figure out what a person is trying to say without correcting their grammar or punctuation then you have the problem and should just go to another thread.

No apostrophes for plural acronyms, but single letters should have the apostrophe for plural. This may be the exception. For instance, if a student got all A's on their report card. Some reference sources believe you should use the apostrophe to avoid having "As," which is a word. :)

I heard that somebody was filming in California a few months back hoping to get a pool reality show. Shannon Daulton and Fatboy were there, but that's all I can remember. I'm not sure what ever happened to this. Maybe it is still in progress.

that was a fun 2 days, it was for a "Grab Reel" i think its called, and shopped out to everyone hoping to Grab their attention then a pilot then a show. in other words a million to one shot it works. The guy who was the director etc had a interest in pool and 3-4 months around pool. So his insight into pool wasnt strong, and clueless about some things, but he did care and has heart-ya never know.

Shannon called me at 1130 at night and asked me if i'd do it, Sure if it helps out pool i'm there, i figured it couldnt hurt. the boys at Hardtimes had a laugh-well not at first but at the end of the day they did. Big Wave Dave started playing country music in the jukebox, the first time perhaps ever in that room, all the bangers were looking around WTF?!?!? is this, i was laughing so hard I couldnt stand it. Shannon thought it was normal.LOL gotta love SD!!!

Havent heard anything since, Redneck Jim, cory, SD, Max(not Eberly a different max-nice guy a SoCal player for 40+ years) and me were in the video. redneck TV is hot right now so if we have a prayer it rests on Redneck Jim, time will tell. should know in a few more months.

back to BB or what ever this thread is about.
