NSK Experts Help

i got the E3000 series spindles,motor and controller.the controller has air input and output and the controller box also has air hose and a small filter.

what i was wondering is do i still need the NSK air line kit or will it be fine to run off the controller.the guys at the jewelry place are gone until tomorrow and i thought someone here might now so i can fire it up tomorrow morning.

NSK's need to have about 15 to 18psi, to operate, clean air is most important, you can use there stuff, or purchase a good, regulator and filter system from others. Just keep it clean and free of moister.

thanks for the reply.i actually bought the machine from your son,but i got the spindle somewhere else.i think Donald called you about one last week for me.

NSK actually sells the whole clean air kit for $250 or so,but i was wondering if it is necessary considering the controller has the outlets on it and they icluded an air hose and a small filter in the box.
 
got it going today.i never knew how loud those stepper were until today.my buddies machine has an Elte 24k and all you hear is the spindle.on the NSK the spindle is basically silent at any speed.now the steppers are loud.
