NYC Pool Players Developing Olympic Pool Format

After visiting various areas in NYC, it is possible to develop a league to model the Future Olympic Cue Sports.
Brighton Beach has the pyramid tables, Carom Cafe has the 3 cushion and some snooker tables. There are plenty of places for the more popular pool sports.

The motivation to develop this league is to give more types of equipment exposure.

Why limit yourself to playing on one type of equipment with varying rules when you can play on multiple types of equipment?

The format would be to form a team and teams compete to win.

This way no player has to take on too much travelling.

Soccer and basketball are basically the same game. I wonder why there are not more dual sport athletes that play both.

Golf, baseball, soccer , basketball and pool are all played with round balls. I think if the players practiced each discipline they would have a much more proficient experience.

Whichever ones.

Sports is about giving youth opportunities to travel. It also serves as a cultural exchange and community building.

Creating a multi discipline sport is comparable to track and field or a decathlon or cross country.

I am trying to drive traffic into specific locations in NYC.

We all saw what Emily and Karim did on the international stage.

Its time to revive the NYC scene. The future of the billiard industry has to adapt. NYC will be the model.

With your perseverance and supergeniosity, what could possibly be?

Dan's 14.1 book?
A fagorate alternative?

P.S. Predator and Matchroom had something you don't.

How much budget is needed to experiment with what I am suggesting?

Carom Cafe one night a month for 3 cushion.
Boardwalk Billiards one night a month for pyramid.
Rotate pool rooms for eight ball one night a month.

Three nights of pool a month to start the ACS League: All Cue Sport League.
Players pay their own green fees. I can pocket costs for corporate status if the trial goes well.

ACS League does not need sanctioning from WCBS. ACS will operate as an independent organization. The purpose of the league is to drive up demand for carom and pyramid equipment.

If successful it will be a player owned and managed organization.

Night in Finland varies greatly between seasons, Grady played by Grady! Feature.

I'm curious about something, why do you think the New York City pool scene needs saving? There's plenty of rooms, tours in the area and there is always an APA affiliate running a weekend tournament.

No pool player I know in that area bothers with snooker, 3 cushion or pyramid because it's not their game. Same goes the other way unless you are someone like Kang Lee who plays 3C and pool at a high level.

So again, what exactly is there that needs to be saved?

You could probably fit all the Americans who have even heard of Russian Pyramid in one pool room. What is it that leads you to believe that it's a future Olympic cue sport when it's not even included in the World Games?
