I have been buying and selling custom cues on AZ Billiards for about 10 years now and over the years I just became more and more passionate (addicted?) about buying new custom cues.

I have always talked about having a website and this year I made it my goal to get something together. Over about 3 months time I worked with a web designer to help me put my thoughts and what I thought my customers would want on to a webpage platform. Basically it came down to wanting the ability to see available cues, by builder and very streamline. Of course I had a few ideas along the way which I think worked out well.

Im very interested to to hear everyones thoughts so please comment and let me know.

Im a bit low on inventory right now but I will be adding new cues almost daily and if you sign up for the news letter you will get a sneak peak at upcoming cues before they are listed. I will also be adding more content under Accessories and Cues in Progress page.

There is a small issue with the gallery view when you click on a photo to enlarge when you are browsing on your phone or tablet. Im working that out today.

Without further ado!

www.AHolesBilliards.com or you can just click my signature photo.

I will look more in depth later, but at first glance..

Well done having a 'sold cue' page - I hate scrolling on other sites looking at cues and they are all sold. The only thing I would change in that regard is to have each sold cue clickable to view a gallery of pictures of it rather than having 4-5 pics of each cue on the main page. Could get cluttered very fast or limit how much previously sold items you can show.

Layout and color scheme seem well done, not cluttered, just enough information to get you going with well laid out navigation.

JasBy, thank you so much for the feedback. So break out the sold cues by builder as well? I like the idea, I think I could just make another page like Sold cues by Barnhart, Sugartree, etc. and then make them clickable.

Again, thanks for the input, thats exactly what Im looking for.

It looks great, nice layout, nice colors..

But.... "a holes"? Why did you choose this name?

I really should explain that somewhere on the site. Back in 2007 I had a close friend that would always come to my house to play, just cheap sets for fun. Well he would never win and started calling my house “A Holes Pool Hall” because some how me winning made me an A Hole. Well the name kind of stuck and I thought it was funny with an interesting back story.

I like it - one suggestion for consideration...

On the sub-pages (not the home page) I would reduce the height of both the site header with logo as well as the carousel of cue images. Generally if I am visiting this page it's because I am looking for something or browsing, neither of which are helped by the large top section - which makes me scroll to get to the actual cues.

On the home page it makes sense because you are branding and enticing a visitor to stay and look around, but once they've made that decision get everything out of the way that doesn't support that goal.

Hope this is helpful,

It absolutely is and I appreciate it. Ill see what it takes to make that change because I do agree with you.

Love the cues,my only advice would be to put the price right next to the title of the cue so you don't have to click into it before you find out it's one I could never afford.

I'm not sure if I missed it because I'm on my phone but you should include a link to your website in the subscriber emails. Or a link to the page of the new cue you add. The site looks great though.

The emails that I am sending are exclusive so the cue actually is not listed yet, its a true offering before the cues are offered to the public. I agree a link to my website should be in those emails and I will start adding that. I appreciate the input.

If you want to be a business man with a website then change the name. It's childish in nature regardless of the story involved in how you got the name. Plus your signature is huge.

It's pool, it's quirky and fun, loosen up. I run a successful real estate business as well, I know how to be a "business man".

I'm glad you like my big signature, I do too.
