OB-1 shaft

Ok, I bought a Meucci HOF-2, not too happy with it, I saw a guy shooting with a OB-1 shaft on his cue, and he said he really liked it, What I'm wondering is if I'd be able to get a OB-1 shaft to fit my meucci, and if I should notice a difference in playing. Thanks in advance,

yes and yes............there will be a difference, but once you get past the adjustment ( shouldnt take long at all ) i think you will like it. if you cant find a dealer near you contact either Royce directly at his website or you can order one through Ray Hansen aka bigtruck here on az.....look in tournament annoucements and waco dec 8 nine ball tournament and he has post there.

James, are you going to be at Click's this Saturday? I've got a little work that I need done on a few shafts.
 
I got an OB-1 about 2 weeks ago and my game has improved.

I've notice a lot less deflection and a more solid hit. The main adjustment I had to make was hit softer as my cue ball was traveling farther after the hit.
 
Thank you for posting a new OB-1 thread today. I completely forgot about OB1, C3P0 and R2D2 for like, a week.
 
I'm sure you can get one for your Meucci. It will be an adjustment I'm sure... for some people it takes longer than others. In fact, I still hesitate on certain shots while using mine.
 
I have an 5/16x18 thread Ob1 that fits your cue.

I have the exact same setup on one of my cues. Meucci HOF-2 (added a stack leather wrap, sweet) and an OB-1 shaft, with a milk dud.

It plays just fine. Very consistent. My game definitely improved after getting it and experimenting a ton with it.

However, it's not as powerful as a conventional hard rock maple shaft, used on the same butt, and with the same tip.

In any case, it plays extremely well.

Go for it, you'll most likely appreciate how well it plays.

Anyone from Ontario, Canada - specifically Toronto, know any good sellers of Ob-1 shafts? I've been interested in getting one for awhile now.

I lived in toronto an moved up to barrie, I bought an ob-1 from shinobi on this board great price and great man to do a internet transaction with. He let me know what was going on with my cue up until I recieved it.
