I prefed wood over paint, but it looks alright. I hope they jump well

From the close ups I saw, it looked stained.

Edit- It says so on the sign at the expo. "Midnight blue stain"

Personally I can't stand the large logos on some production jump sticks and breakers, including this one. Small logo and a more natural stain color i'd be much more likely to purchase

Can someone tell how this jump cue is any different than all the others.
Seems they figured, hey let's put a jump cue out there without any R&D.

Their website has all the details. Do you really think OB of all companies isn't doing R&D?

Well it would stand to reason if they do they ought to research how many people DON'T buy their stuff because its butt ugly logo looks tacky

Why am I the Colonel? Because I always get the chicken

Thought I read somewhere on the forum that Steve lomax had something to do with the R+D in these.

I read that Steve and Royce are good friends, but Steve didn't "officially" have any part in the design. His opinion and thoughts were well heeded though, and I'm sure he had an influence, even if it wasn't official.

Ok I knew I remembered reading something like that but wasn't sure thanks for clarifying.

Normally I agree, but on this cue the logo somehow looks good to me.
