Well like the title said my ob1 shaft warped. Enough that I notice it when I'm playing. I have no idea why..I keep my cue stick on my pool table in my basement and I cover the table when I'm not playing. I've done this for 10 years with no problems with multiple cues. From my players cue...schon cue..joss and jacoby and never had a problem. I noticed it a few weeks ago and it actually seems like it got worse. I don't know if it will cause me to miss a shot but I know I don't like staring at it while i'm trying to aim. I guess I'll talk to the ob1 guys in philly in march and see if they are willing to take care of it or tell me to go f myself it's not there problem. The shaft is about 9 months old so we'll see.
As far as deflection is concerned I put the stock schon shaft back on my cue last night and honestly didn't notice anything. I didn't miss a ball because of deflection. My biggest adjustment was not getting the english I expected to get but that's to be expected. I starting to think it's like golf clubs. For any of you that play every year they seem to have a new club that supposed to be easier to hit and will go farther but the truth is it's all about your swing...if you aint got it none of that stuffs gonna matter. I think deflection falls under that. I thinks it's so minute that good players won't make a difference and average or below players won't have a stroke good enough for it to matter.
